For line charts, it's possible to convert all the line chart values into a single Average Value.
The line chart needs to have a date component set in Group By - Bucket/Group (month/quarter etc.).
Click the Line chart and click the Average toggle.
It turns green when the average is on.
Once turned ON the line chart will then show the average value for that time period.
Works for all slider type questions including NPS.
